The host venue for the 2003 Presidents Cup and the 2005 Women's World Cup of Golf and SAA Open, The Links at Fancourt is the flagship of golf at Fancourt. With an extremely impresive design it is consistently in the top 3 of South Africa golf courses.

Gary Player's design team took inspriation from the classics links courses in Scotland and Ireland and somehow managed to recreate a real links experience upon on old airstrip. The result of their hard work is truly awe-inspiring and has elicited praise from some of the world's finest golfers.

Unfortunately The Links at Fancourt is a private club and this restricts play mainly to members and their invited guests. Fortunately there are a few tee times available for guests staying at Fancourt's hotel. If you are interested in playing the links at Fancourt let us know as soon as possible so that we may reserve one of the limited tee times.

The Links at Fancourt provides a special experience which is further enhanced by the expert caddies at the club. These caddies are among the best in the world and are sure to assist any standard of golfer negotiate his or her way around The Links.

When playing The Links, it is difficult to believe that one is not in Scotland or Ireland, until, that is, one notices the imposing Outeniqua mountain range that rises impressively in the background.

Our Teams Tips

For first time visits to South Africa I would highly recommend spending a few nights in Cape Town. Top class golf courses like, Arabella, Steenberg & Clovelly are easily accessible from Cape Town and at night time you can enjoy everything this vibrant city has to offer!".
